The Windmill is one of the most iconic buildings on the Norfolk Broads that features on so many postcards, paintings etc. which everyone remembers from their childhood holidays. This is your chance to stay in this characterful self catering property built around an old wind pump. It is in a prime location with idyllic views over the River Bure. Accommodation is quirky within the eight walls, but has everything you need for a holiday. A peaceful place to sit and watch the world go by, but close to the Ferry Inn and boatyards too. Long river frontage for fishing and. mooring. Stands by shared basin offering tranquil riverside mooring, Excellent location for fishing either on the river or in the basin. Quirky accommodation, all on ground floor, is dictated by the octagonal shape of the cottage and comprises:-

  • Modern fitted kitchen with fridge, microwave and washer/dryer.
  • Sitting/dining area in centre of cottage with river views and a french window onto garden/river frontage.

  • One double bedroom and two single rooms. Bearing in mind the size and shape of the mill, storage in bedrooms is limited, and consists more of shelving than cupboards and wardrobes.

  • One allocated parking bay. Access via gravel pathway with two steps.
  • Large waterside lawn with BBQ area and exterior lights. Small children must be closely supervised at all times.
